Christchurch’s museum about the earthquakes is called “Quake City”. It had films from the time of the quakes, and a follow-up with the same people 10 years later, it was very moving. These images from the museum give a sense of the devastation from the quakes.

Cathedral Square is the center of Christchurch, and it was devastated. Today it is the centre of rebirth for the city.
